In 2019, The Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts hosted an annual meeting at the Springfield Museums, home of the Dr. Seuss Museum. The theme was “Oh, the Places We’ll Go!” Below are two examples of fine detail work in illustrator, bringing the Federation’s brandmark into the Dr. Seuss world, staying faithful to his unique style and of line drawings and shading techniques.
3D Design
The Federation needed to create some branding for a new program designed to reach the “next generation” of the Jewish community. Part of that effort was the creation of a new logo. Here I took the organization’s existing logo and used Illustrator’s 3D rendering capabilities to arrive at this ringed planet look:
